Guy with ponytail: Your highlights are fabulous!
Me: Oh, thanks!
Guy with ponytail: No, really. Where did you get them done?
Me: I did them myself, actually.
Guy with ponytail: No way! How did you do that?
Me: Just with a kit that came in a box.
Guy with ponytail: So what do you do if you're a hair stylist?
Me: I work for a theatre.
Guy with ponytail: Awesome! I do something like that too.

(The light changes to the walk signal.)

Guy with ponytail: It was great meeting you! I've gotta go film "Six Degrees" now.

(And walks across the street into trailer on what I now notice to be a TV set. Seriously, who was that???)
